We frequently invite speakers to Borras Park Church. This page provides some additional information that prospective preachers may require for preparation.  Variations to the following orders of service will always be considered by the Elders.

Morning Services

Our morning services commence with the notices read by the Church secretary.  Early in the service an opportunity is given for young children to recite Bible verses, and this is usually followed by a short talk for the children. This can then be followed by the offering being taken up and the children making their way to the Sunday School class at the end of the hymn following the offering.

Evening Services

Our evening services generally follow the same pattern as the morning services but there is no collection taken, no children’s recitations nor Sunday School.

Other Notes

Our main hymnbook is 'Christian Hymns'. We also use our own supplement of hymns and songs: click here for a list of the contents of the supplement. We also have an OHP for projecting in the church as we have a small stock of hymns and songs not currently included in the supplement, available on acetate for the OHP. The church provides Bibles for visitors in the New King James version.
